Director of Sales
SimpliSafe is looking for an Inside Sales Leader who wants to help us achieve our mission of keeping Every Home Secure. As the leader of the Inside Sales Organization you will help build the organization into a core sales channel for the commercial organization by developing our Richmond-based Inside Sales Team and managing our BPO Sales partners. You will be expected to develop and execute strategies that optimize our current inbound channel and build our outbound capability -- enabling strong sales and profitability performance. This leadership position will require you to build and grow our sales capability through coaching and mentorship.
What you'll do:
- Lead, mentor, manage and develop a quota achieving sales team
- Create and prepare performance reports and establish metrics to optimize performance
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to hire a world-class team
- Deliver ongoing training and coaching to increase team's effectiveness
- Strategize and creatively implement change to continually grow the business
- Collaborate with other marketing and operational functions to optimize sales messaging and execution
What you’ll need:
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience
- 5+ years of technology products and/or services experience
- Demonstrated track record hiring and developing successful sales people
- No ego, no job too small attitude
- Ability to utilize strategic thinking to achieve long-term company goals
- 50% travel required if not located in Richmond, VA.
