We’re embracing a hybrid work model that enables our teams to split their time between office and home. Hybrid for us means we expect our teams to come together in our state-of-the-art office on two core days, typically Tuesday and Wednesday, to work together in person, and teams can choose where they work for the remainder of the week. We all benefit from flexibility and get to use the best of both worlds to get our work done.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with the ACD, Design and senior designers on projects across the business and oversee production of creative, from concept to completion, ensuring work is on-brief, on-brand, top-notch and best-practices are  followed and optimized for search and user experience across all mediums.
  • Advocate and work in tandem with our copy partners on creative.
  • Be aware of current design trends to help inspire the team.
  • Build on a strategic and analytical approach to impactful creative/ design.
  • Work with internal  and external clients/stakeholders across all customers, ensuring briefs are complete and clear.
  • Produce concept drafts and prototypes against brief.
  • Make timely decisions.
  • Take feedback as needed to sharpen your skills.
  • Ensure final files meet print and web standards, such as color, typography and image guidelines. 
  • Protect and build on SimpliSafe’s unique, ownable, and educational brand identity.
  • Help evolve the brand as needed.
  • Assist in finding  outside talent, including photography (still and motion) and illustration, as needed.
  • Nice to haves: 
    • Motion graphic experience
    • HTML experience

What You’ll Bring: 

  • 3+ years of design experience preferably in ecommerce and marketing  with a brand team or an agency.
  • Art direction experience preferred.
  • Good commercial awareness.
  • A formal design education or related experience.
  • Some experience mentoring junior team members is good to have.
