What You’ll Do

At SimpliSafe, we're dedicated to providing security solutions that offer peace of mind. As we expand our telesales division, we're seeking a passionate individual to lead our team in the Richmond, VA Call Center. Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Drive the implementation of our multi-year Telesales strategy, overseeing critical initiatives and managing a team of 4 or more direct reports.
  • Foster collaborative relationships across departments to achieve objectives and develop innovative solutions to challenges, even in ambiguous situations.
  • Cultivate a culture of agility and resilience within the telesales team, empowering employees to adapt quickly to changing priorities and market dynamics.
  • Develop and implement processes and policies to enhance the efficiency and consistency of both customer and employee experiences, with flexibility to adjust as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business goals, diagnose issues, and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Coach direct Supervisor reports, creating individual development plans to ensure continuous growth and leadership succession.
  • Model positive leadership attributes and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive working environment for all agents.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience, with a track record of success in managing inbound and/or outbound sales teams.
  • Experience supervising or managing within a direct sales environment, with demonstrated performance management skills, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead high-performing sales teams through uncertainty.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of sales metrics, performance standards, and methodologies.
  • Effective decision-making and prioritization abilities, capable of making tough trade-offs when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels and provide constructive feedback.
  • A growth mindset, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Must be eligible for certification as an electronic security employee, which requires submitting your fingerprints to the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) for use in conducting a national criminal records search and a Virginia criminal history search and final certification approval from DCJS.
