Our founders, Chad and Eleanor Laurans, started SimpliSafe after three of their friends were robbed in a month. Their friends felt traumatized and vulnerable, but the solutions at the time involved pushy salespeople, expensive hard-wired systems, unsightly hardware, and pricey long-term contracts. Chad and Eleanor disrupted the industry by creating a secure solution for every home.
