What You’ll Do

Learning at SimpliSafe is changing. As our learning program evolves and scales, we need your expertise in learning design & program evaluation. This role will partner with stakeholders to drive project initiatives for our internal monitoring organization. As we bring new products, services, and new lines of business online - we have no shortage of opportunity. Our list of projects is ambitious and we need your expertise to help us realize that ambition.

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Work with operations leaders, training facilitators and specialists to build enablement programs SimpliSafe needs to meet operational metrics
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, keeping stakeholders and project teams informed
  • Propose and execute thoughtful changes to existing training programs and leverage training modalities effectively - audio, video, eLearning, gamification, simulations, etc
  • Maintain an LMS to create, organize and share out effective learning content that improves specialist performance
  • Work with the Sr. Manager of Training & Enablement to develop and implement a learning assessment program
  • Leverage program evaluation data, outcomes (QA) data and success metrics to enable specialists to provide world class monitoring experiences for our customers

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in learning design & implementation
  • Proficiency in eLearning design, audio, and video editing
  • Demonstrated experience with common web and multimedia authoring tools (such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia) and knowledge of Instructional design models required.
  • Expertise with commonly used technology platforms and software such as PC, Mac, Google Office, Office 365 and popular browsers is expected.
  • Must possess strong skills in oral and written communication, stand up training delivery and presentation, and project management.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and communicate timelines, challenges, and opportunities
  • Ability to build strong relationships with SMEs, cross functional partners, and learners
  • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles & learning evaluation
  • Excellent communication skills written, verbal, and demonstrated throughout programming
  • Strong creative thinking and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable challenging norms and questioning existing processes
  • A level of comfort in a highly transformative environment where priorities and processes are continuously evolving

What would be very helpful for you in this role (but isn’t required):

  • Experience working with Lessonly and Seismic platforms

Must clear background checks to meet state central station operator licensing requirements in multiple states, requiring the ability to pass state and national background checks by having no criminal convictions, guilty or nolo contendere pleas back to age 18 (including convictions that have been sealed or expunged).
