What You’ll Do

The Compensation & Data Analyst plays a crucial role across our People team. Their primary responsibilities will include conducting compensation analysis in support of our compensation programs and assisting in the design/analysis of various compensation strategies. This role also includes audit and analytical support for our Total Rewards and Payroll function.

In addition to compensation support, the analyst will collect, structure, analyze data and create reports for stakeholders across the People team to better support the insights the People team provides to the business.. With stellar data reporting acumen and sharp analytical skills, they arm the People team with data needed to implement and measure the impact of our programs and overall organizational health and support decision-making. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

Compensation

  • Conducting Compensation Analysis: This involves researching and analyzing compensation data, both internally within the company and externally in the industry. This analysis helps in determining appropriate salary ranges, bonuses, and other forms of compensation.
  • Salary Surveys and Benchmarking: Gathering data from salary surveys and benchmarking studies to compare the company's compensation packages with those of competitors and industry standards. This helps in ensuring that the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
  • Supporting Compensation Reviews and Budgeting: Assisting with annual compensation reviews and budgeting processes. Providing insights and recommendations to management regarding salary adjustments, bonus payouts, and budget allocations.
  • Communication and Education: Communicating compensation policies and practices to employees and managers. Providing guidance and education on compensation-related matters, such as salary negotiations, benefits enrollment, and incentive programs.
  • Developing tools and reports for People Partners and Talent Acquisition to help with self-service.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing compensation data to identify trends, whether our programs are performing as planned and areas for improvement. Generating reports and presentations to communicate findings to key stakeholders.

Data & Reporting

  • Gather HR data from various sources, such as HRIS, employee surveys, and performance management platform.
  • Clean and validate data ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity
  • Analyze data looking for trends and patterns in data related to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance.
  • Prepare reports translating complex HR data into meaningful reports and presentations that senior leadership can understand
  • Create and maintain People data tools, reporting and dashboards; produce and deliver standard (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and customized People data reports
    • Example reports include: DEI, attrition, and  talent management;monthly payroll reporting for Finance
  • Collaborate across the People Team responding to ad hoc data requests and partnering on projects requiring data analysis.

  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented and organized in a fast-paced environment

  • Highest level of integrity in all dealings with people inside and outside the Company, exemplifying high moral and ethical behavior
  • Experience with Tableau a plus
  • Experience with UKG Ready a plus
