What You’ll Do

The IT & Security Department is looking for a motivated person to lead architectural design across the department’s technical programs, as well as partner with Engineering teams on designing new products and supporting services. The position will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer, who leads both the IT and Information Security teams. Inside the department, you’ll lead the development of a modernized, zero-trust platform that can efficiently support our users and secure our enterprise. The position will also partner with Engineering teams, particularly on designing secure AWS applications and other enterprise services.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Drive development of modern, efficient, zero-trust services supporting our full-spread of stakeholders, including customers and enterprise users.
  • Develop strong identity and access management (IAM) controls across applications and computing environments
  • Design systems that can support robust data processing and security requirements to enable the business, while appropriately protecting customer and employee data concerns
  • Partner with Engineering teams on new product and service architectures that satisfy business requirements, and are also scalable & secure
  • Mentor junior team members and engineers

What You’ll Bring

  • A proven deep background in technology design, implementation and delivery. 
  • 7+ years of experience working in cloud architecture (AWS a plus), with a deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code, serverless architectures, containers, and Kubernetes. 
  • Thorough understanding of Identity and Access Management technologies, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, and multifactor authentication technologies.
  • Possess a DevOps focus across technology and security architecture, automation, integration, and distribution.
  • Experience with the following platforms a plus: Okta, Zscaler, JumpCloud, and Jamf
  • Drive efficiencies, enabling IT & Security team members to work on more advanced tasks. 
  • Partner, coach and functionally lead IT, engineering, development and business teams.
